Derry & the Dirty Dishes

Derry & the Dirty Dishes is a Des Moines rock & roll band for kids and grownups alike. Fronted by Derek Muse Lambert, their debut album Three Day Weekend is full of fun and playful songs written by Derek and his wife Ramona Muse Lambert. The songs emerged organically over the years in their musically-centered household with their three children, who helped write some of the songs and who’s reactions to the music provided natural guidance as to what styles kids would dance to and what lyrical content got the biggest laughs and smiles. Having themselves been subjected to countless hours of popular kids' music on repeat, the Muse Lamberts also set out to create a sound that may come as a breath of fresh air to parents in similar circumstances, or even non-parents in touch with a fun and playful spirit.
