Glamping Campsites

  • Site locations are assigned upon arrival

  • Coolers, box fans, and sheet sets will be available to rent. Limited quantities available. First-come, first-serve. Extra item reservation details will be sent out via email after purchase of your package.


  • Includes one parking pass for the Glamping Parking Lot
  • If you need parking for additional vehicles, you can purchase a parking pass for the General Parking Lot, advance purchase recommended
  • Shuttles are available from the General Parking Lot to the festival grounds


  • Check-in: 9am-8pm Thursday-Saturday, 9am-7pm Sunday
  • Re-entry during daylight hours only
  • All campers must exit by Noon Monday


You are welcome to visit any campground with a campsite wristband, but you are only allowed to set up camp and stay overnight in your designated campground.

All glamping campsites are hosted by Backyards and Beyond.

Platinum – $1,000

  • Includes 2 campsite wristbands, with option to purchase 1 additional campsite wristband for $60

Deluxe – $800

  • Includes 2 campsite wristbands, no additional campers
  • Big Agnes Cabin Tent
  • Air-conditioning
  • 1 queen air bed
  • 2 pillows and queen sheets
  • 2 standard camp chairs
  • 1 standard camp table
  • Power strip with 20-amp service

Core – $600

  • Includes 2 campsite wristbands, no additional campers
  • Coleman Dome Tent or CORE Cabin Tent (assigned upon arrival)
  • 1 queen air bed (pillows and sheets not provided)
  • 2 standard camp chairs
  • Power strip with 20-amp service

Showers are located next to the Non-Powered RV Campground. A shuttle to the showers will run from 5am-2pm daily. Showers are $7, card only. Shower Hours: 5pm-1am Thursday, 5am-1am Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Pick up any odds and ends you may have forgotten at our General Store by the Box Office. Hours: 8am-Midnight.

Hinterland Yoga

Join us for yoga by the Campfire Stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30am. Yoga by Ben Spellman of Good Vibes Yoga. Classes are freewill donation.

  • Glass
  • Pyro Stuff (No tiki torches, fireworks or the like, please)
  • RVs or Cars in Glamping Campgrounds
  • Pets (Service animals are welcome)
  • Selling stuff or unlicensed vending or sponsor tents
  • Swimming in the pond
  • No camping in parking lots

Arriving to Hinterland as a Glamper


Check-in is available between 9am-8pm Thursday-Saturday and 9am-7pm Sunday. All campers must exit by 12pm on Monday.


By Car

Head to the Glamping Area. Show your pass to the lot attendant to get your parking tag.

After parking, head to the Glamping entrance and we’ll show you to your campsite.


By Carpool, Rideshare or Des Moines Shuttle

If you aren’t parking, walk to the Glamping entrance.


Entering the Festival

Festival grounds open at 3pm on Thursday, 2pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday and Sunday.



You may leave and re-enter the festival grounds and parking lot. Re-entry to parking lots is only allowed during daylight hours.
