2. Know Before You Go
There is a
NEW ROUTE with Exit 52 for St. Charles being closed.
Please review the
DIRECTIONS closely.
What to do when you arrive...
Know what you can and can't bring into the
festival grounds and
campgrounds.
If you don't have your festival wristband upon arrival, go to the
Box Office. There is temporary parking at the onsite Box Office. If you are local, heading to Val Air Ballroom on Wednesday is highly recommended.
The entire festival grounds span about 1.5 miles from end to end, so be prepared to walk. There are designated walking trails between campgrounds and parking lots. Walking along Highway G50 is NOT permitted for safety reasons. Pedicab rides are also available. Learn more on
Getting Around.
Power is not provided, please plan accordingly or consider reserving a festival concourse charging
locker with extra room to store things like merch, jackets, blankets, etc.
New in 2025, Hinterland introduced a 90 Degree Guarantee, which allows ticket holders the option to request festival admission ticket returns for any day that is predicted to reach 90 degrees or higher. Please familiarize yourself with the
90 Degree Guarantee policy and process.
